Okay, so I’ve settled on the house I want to buy. It is a really nice place. I made a video tour of it a few weeks ago(Click the link to see it).

I’m having the interior inspected on Wednesday, so I should have another video tour posted this weekend of the interior.

This house was really really nice on the inside. Unfortunately it appeared to have roof leaks in 2 spots. Not sure the details of that.

However, the backyard was at the bottom of a WICKED slope. It had double decks. One deck off the kitchen which was like 75 feet above ground level. But mature trees so itd be like hanging out in a treehouse being back there. Next there was a deck immediately below that. The backyard was pretty overgrown but it had a cute playhouse in the back and a little stream running right through the backyard.

I liked it. The downside is that it lists as 4 bedroom but is really more like 3 bedroom due to the 4th bedroom being unfinished. Check it out-

Oh god this house was AWFUL on the interior. The backyard just sloped down into nothingness. I was nonplussed by this place.

some pics. i actually thought this house was kind of cool. a tad rundown. needs a lot of cleaning. the carpets/paint are mostly in good condition and just needs a good steamcleaning and washdown and would honestly probably be move-in ready. the backyard needs a LOT of gardening work done. however the backyard is fucking gigantic. like, seriously gigantic. i think the kids would be very happy with it. the only problem is the backyard is not super-private, but who cares? its private enough to not have the neighbors in our face all the time.i dunno i like it

Backyard is fuckin HUUUUUUUUUGE and mostly level.I was standing about midway from the house to the back fence when i took this. Lots of big mature trees. 3 of them are dead unfortunately and will have to come down.

We went and saw the interior of this house. Me and Rob had stopped by last week and took pictures of the exterior.

A very minor leak. I noticed animal droppings above this panel.

Water seapage from the furnace had made this small portion of carpet very wet.

This house was digusting and dirty on the inside. The carpet smelled like urine. The backdoor had obviously been kicked in at some point. The walls were filthy in every room. Going down to the basement, the real estate agent started to gag so I went it alone. Now I’m a nurse, and I am used to disgusting smells, but I was quite nearly overwhelmed by it myself. The odor was a mixture of cigarettes, piss, and wet dog. Very very very strong smells in that house. Throughout the house the carpet would need to be pulled up, and the subfloors even replaced. Also paint throughout the entire house. Probably 5 layers. It was really bad on the interior.

The yard was well-landscaped and looked nice.

List price is $143,000. It is a very nice house. Taken care of. Fenced yard. Almost an entire acre. Good school. Train tracks right behind the back fence though. I actually really liked this house a lot.
